Dear Valued Customer:
Effective Jan 15, 2017, MasterCard revised their Business Risk
Assessment and Mitigation Program to include e-cigarettes,
in accordance to the new FDA ruling that deems this product as tobacco.
This means we are now required to obtain an adult
signature for deliveries of this product in States that have passed
this law. At this point that means Texas and Washington.
This has added a huge expense for our company and a huge inconvenience to you our customer!
Visa is not making this type of demand, at least not at this time!
Therefore, we are asking, our Texas and Washington State customers to please use Visa or American Express. Thank you!
We will keep you informed of any changes that are made regarding the FDA and your freedom to use this great burning tobacco alternative.
Thank you so much!
Cary Lee, President
The electronic cigarette has been very controversial for many years.
Is it an alternative to combustible tobacco? That’s our passion. Studies have shown that switching from burning tobacco can be a huge improvement in a person’s life.
According to Public Health England* (2015): “In a nutshell, best estimates show e-cigarettes are 95% less harmful to your health than normal cigarettes, and when supported by a smoking cessation service, help most smokers to quit tobacco altogether.”
Every bit of information we acquire we are willing to release.
Lab analysis, reports, etc. are available upon request.
To summarize, we're not saying we're a 'safe' product. We are an alternative to burning tobacco. This alternative eliminates carbon monoxide, tar, other harmful chemicals and smoke. The effects of tobacco on society have been proven for decades, and we all know what they can do!
