The health effects of burning tobacco smoking and tar.

Hello all, welcome back to the A Clean Cigarette Blog. This is Dawn here your A Clean Cigarette blogger. thanks for joining us today!

As many of you may know one of the primary roles of this blog is to keep you informed. Not JUST informed on e-cigarettes but on a wide variety of topics that relate to e-cigarettes, vapor products and even burning tobacco products. With that in mind, I think we should revisit the facts behind burning tobacco products and its health impact on the smokers who still use them.

There is a ton of information out there, from Meme’s to studies and pretty much everything in between. In an effort to not reinvent the wheel I am going to use some of these sources to show the real issues behind burning tobacco, verse making my own memes and diagrams. Each will be linked with its source so if you see some info that you would like MORE info on just click the image or link that will be provided.

Okay, let’s get started with a quick look at a few of the ingredients inside of a burning cigarette. This little info gram below is not a complete list by far. However, there are nearly 600 ingredients in a typical burning tobacco cigarette and a list that long takes up a lot of your time. If you are interested in more information regarding everything in a burning tobacco cigarette and a link to the Full list, Click Here.

The Most harmful ingredients in most burning tobacco cigarettes:

However, there is one other thing in a burning cigarette that is not on the ingredients list but definitely needs to be mentioned when we talk about the health effects of burning tobacco. That substance is TAR.

While tar is a byproduct, not an ingredient many experts claim that tar is, in fact, the deadliest part of a burning tobacco cigarette. Which is really quite impressive considering that it’s up against ingredients like arsenic, a deadly human poison, and radon, a radioactive gas.

So now we can see some of what would cause these burning tobacco-related health issues, now let’s see what parts of the are affected.

That is a lot of potential damage for sure. Every single part of the human body is negatively affected in some way by smoking. In most cases, the effects are not minor either. Leukemia, which is blood cancer, ravishes the body and requires horrible treatments. Lung cancer and Emphysema kill tens of thousands of people a year and heart disease kills even more.

Here let’s take a look at another diagram that gives an even more in-depth picture of how burning tobacco use affects the body:

Amazingly destructive isn’t it? How something this deadly can be so easily accessed is mind-blowing.  (If you would like a copy of this image as a poster visit HERE, it’s not free but I must admit it gets the point across!)

I always like to find information from multiple sights. What do some of the more “trusted” groups have to say about the burning tobacco health risks? Let’s find out:

Cancer Research UK

I could go on but let’s be honest, they are all going to say the same thing because none of this is news. Not a single thing I have shown here is surprising to us as smokers. (Well except maybe the number of ingredients, I mean who woulda thunk it would take 600 ingredients to mimic a plant leaf wrapped in paper?) We know how bad this stuff is making us feel. We also know we need to quit, but in spite of all this information, some of us can’t’ quit, like me. And that is where making the SWITCH comes in.

While not harmless and not “safe” especially for a non-smoker, A Clean Cigarette brand e-cigarettes are an updated alternative to burning tobacco cigarettes that will give you the throat hit, the nicotine and the feel that we smokers need but missing the 600 ingredients and Tar. Plus as an added bonus, you get to ditch the stink and the mess too!

I know must of my readers here have already made the switch, but if you have loved ones who need to be reminded of how bad burning tobacco really is, feel free to print off some of the images here. Just right click an image and save it to your computter. Easy, Peasy.
