TAR: Deadly, Gross and Not in E-cigarettes

Hey everyone! Dawn here your loyal A Clean Cigarette blogger. Recently we have done a lot of talking about the research and politics that revolve around electronic cigarettes.  I think that it is a good time to switch our focus back to burning tobacco. What is in it and what it does to us.

While there is a lot going on health-wise with burning tobacco, there are few things as hard on the body as TAR. So today we are going to talk about Tar; that’s a picture of Tar right there.⇓

A Tar Pit. Ewww!

Tar is always found, in every single cigarette that is smoked.  There is simply no getting around it. That is because tobacco cigarettes are lit on fire.  Fire burning anything creates smoke and tar; that’s just a fact. The fact that electronic cigarettes are not lit on fire means they cannot produce tar.

But back to burning tobacco. Here is another picture of tar. ⇓ That yellow staining is a tell-tale sign of this vile stuff.

That same telltale yellowing occurs on the walls of a house where people smoke burning tobacco as a means to deliver nicotine. ⇓ Yuck!

Tar sticks to everything. Walls, clothes, even your hair!

That can mean a rough clean up!

Double Yuck!
Double Yuck!

That’s not all tar stains though.  Check these pics out. ⇓

Your teeth take care of you, shouldn’t they get a break from the tar?
It is not hard to spot a long-term smoker, the tar leaves it’s mark for all to see.

The staining can get very bad, as seen here on this long-term smoker’s fingers.

Unfortunately, it gets way worse.

When a smoker inhales tar from a burning cigarette, that tar coats their lungs. Warning, the next picture is not for the faint of heart. ⇓ To be completely honest it’s straight out disgusting and terrifying.

This is what Tar does to lungs.
This is what Tar does to lungs.

So there is the truth on tar, on top of being bad for the health of your lungs and teeth, it stinks up your home, stains everything and overall is just gross. Tar sticks to everything, even you. It happens whenever something is lit on fire.  If you really want to keep the nicotine, but you are tired of TAR we do have another option for you. A Clean Cigarette brand electronic cigarettes cannot produce tar. So you still get your nicotine, but you get to give up not only the tar, but nearly 600 ingredients and 4000+ chemicals too.  While we know e-cigarettes are not harmless over-all it seems like a better than fair trade to us and we hope you agree!

As always I hope this was useful, and if you have any questions at all feel free to reach out on Facebook or in the comment section of this blog. I love hearing from you and will do my best to get you the answers you deserve.
