Aaron’s Corner: A closer look at customer service.

CleanCigaretteLogo(13Hey guys, I hope you’re enjoying my weekly blog! I wanted to give you guys a quick shout out for all the likes and shares! Thank you very much!

This week I’d like to tell you about an experience that I had with customer service recently.

I pull up to Rogers Hobby Center in Saginaw, Michigan wanting to browse and see what this place had to offer. I walk in, not really knowing too much about anything. The guys in the store greeted me right away wanting to get to know me and help answer any questions that I had. It wasn’t like a store you walk into and the sales employee starts trying to convince you to buy their product, I told them a little about myself and what I was interested in, and they took the time to ask me questions; really listening to me and what would be the best way for me to go.

They weren’t there to push the most expensive product on me, their main job was to make sure I got what best fit my needs. I was pleasantly surprised when they took the time to educate me about the products, and if they did not know something they made sure to find the answers out for me.

When I finally made my first purchase they sat me down and went over any questions I had ,making sure before I walked out the door I knew everything I needed to know. Needless to say, I felt great about my purchase.

A month or so goes by and I walk back into Rogers wanting something for my RC truck, unfortunately they did not have what I needed, but they did take me over to their computers helping me look up this product and seeing where I could get it for the best price who does that right!?cusomer service2

Before I left I became interested in a product that was fairly pricey but, I knew I had to have it. Instead of just letting me spend the money and buy it the guys explained to me why I did not want to purchase this item. Because they had listened to what I wanted to do they knew and explained to me why this was not the item for I really wanted. Instead of aimlessly spending money on my new addiction/hobby I was able to save that money for less important things (Ya know like bills, groceries, etc).

I have seen this customer service before…I will talk highly of Rogers and tell everyone I know that this is the place to go because “life is short, get a hobby”. I also know a company’s growth is based on friends referring friends and how do you get that respect? By giving outstanding customer service, this is why A Clean Cigarette is what it is were not here to sell you anything.  Were here to listen to our customers, educate our customers, and most importantly enjoy each other’s company so come on in and hang out, have a cup of coffee on us.

Imagine walking into a store buying a pack of cigarettes and the clerk leans over and says hey shoot a hoop and get a free pack of cigarettes, stop into Bay and Shattuck and experience just that. Take a shot and get a free filter how easy is that? Or our Alma store location where you can throw some darts.

We value our customers, and it shows, but without your support soon the FDA’s recent deeming of electronic cigarettes as tobacco means we will have to eliminate these great customer events. So if you have not already done so check out Dawn’s blog HERE for how you can help. Again thanks for all the support stop by our Facebook page and give it a like and stay tuned for next week’s post.

P.S. I will be at Bay and Shattuck tomorrow between 9am and 10am if anyone wants to play a game of pig. Of course I’ll gamble a free filter on me, no worries Cary I got this!
